AHF 12th Annual Conference held in Dallas, Texas, from Aug 23-26, 2021

The Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF) hosted its 12th successful in-person Annual Conference in Dallas, Texas from August 23-26 at the Omni Dallas Hotel. The conference provided a forum for AHF members and self-operated healthcare foodservice professionals to join up with peers, mentors, and friends to reenergize, become inspired, refreshed, and be excited.

For Touchwork this was a first-time milestone as a participant, as a sponsor, and as an exhibitor at the AHF Marketplace. Touchwork has already widely proven its technology solutions in the Higher education sector, and in addition to over 100 Universities, Touchwork has around 50 hospitals already using its solutions. Touchwork’s participation in the 12th AHF Conference was aimed at expanding this footprint in the healthcare foodservices sector.

The AHF Annual Conference is the premier platform for self-operated healthcare food management professionals. Its goal is to connect healthcare leaders through shared knowledge, professional development, and invaluable resources. Now more than ever self-operated health facilities need to be innovative while doing more with less. This year’s AHF’s conference theme, Playbook for the Future aimed at helping foodservice professionals to reset, renew, and reconnect.

The AHF helps its members to learn, discover, and share ways to retain their leadership in influencing the healthcare foodservice industry. The conference provided exciting live sessions, unequaled educational sessions, lively networking, the first-day AHF Marketplace and Exhibit Hall, and so much more, to empower attendees with the skills, networks, and the playbook to succeed.

Touchwork is well positioned to assist AHF members in meeting these objectives with its proven suite of real-time customer satisfaction feedback applications, audits, and surveys. As an exhibitors at the AHF Conference Marketplace, Touchwork was able to set up live demonstrations of its patient, staff, and visitor feedback solution with both:

  • QR Code based questionnaire; and
  • Text-based messaging demo.

HF Conference attendees were also able to test a number of real-time audit demos including patient rounding audits, host/hostess audits and test tray audits. Interest was excellent and generated several strong leads from the self-operated healthcare foodservices sector.
